Deconstructed altarpiece for untold stories
Felicia Rauma Andersen's art is an investigation of power structures and textile craft traditions. She weaves new out of old and embroider on material that someone else has begun, and builds installations of things from the past together with her own works. At Skogsfesten 2019, Felicia makes a textile installation that talks to the past, present and future. She works in dialogue with the women who have gone before to find their way forward. Through art, she examines how we can break free from the historiography we today learn about, a narrative created by men.
